Insole & Orthotic Prescription
We often prescribe foot orthotics (orthoses) or insoles as part of a treatment programme to help reduce the tissue stress which is causing pain, change gait patterns, alter centres of mass & improve postural alignment.
Wherever possible we use foot orthotics on a temporary basis whilst recommending exercises etc. as part of a rehabilitation programme. Sometimes orthotics are needed indefinitely.
Temporary customisable orthotics are adjusted in our workshop onsite whilst you wait. Further adjustments to temporary orthotic devices can be made as your condition improves.
We utilise the latest in modern technology to provide permanent orthotic devices with the award winning phits 3D printed orthotics. These are made following a thorough biomechanical assessment of your lower-limbs, & gait analysis including Footscan dynamic pressure assessment.
